Our Regular & Comprehensive Elevator Inspections
As part of our elevator maintenance plans, you get the benefit of our regular elevator inspections. These are carried out by our team of expert elevator technicians who will assess and inspect your elevator thoroughly, checking all its components. We take our time and perform such a detailed assessment so that we can fully identify, diagnose, and then successfully repair any problems, damages, or faults before they develop into something more serious. Our inspections include:
- In the Car – our technicians will make sure that the elevator doors open and close smoothly and freely, make sure there is no damage to the walls or ceilings, and that the button panel and emergency stop button are fully functional
- Outside the Car – we will check and replace the lights, if necessary, assess the door panels, and test out the fire alarm system.
- In the Machine Room – we will spend some time in the machine room for your building’s elevator system to make sure that the oil levels are correct, that all systems are properly lubricated, and examine the electrical wiring for any signs of frayed strands or potential snaps and rips.
- Top of the Car– we will inspect the top of the elevator car to check the cables, brakes, and emergency exit hatch for any signs of faults or damage
- In the Pit – last but not least, we will inspect the pit to make sure there is an adequate and safe amount of clearance and carefully assess the car frame for any signs of deterioration, wear and tear, or damage.
